Archery Hen Parties in the UK and Ireland Testimonials

With my best friend's big day just a few months away I thought it was about time I organised her hen party, and with a group of 12 hens to keep happy it was important I picked the right activity! Because it was a summer wedding we wanted to make the most of the warmer weather by booking an outdoor activity, and after looking into a couple of different activities I decided to go for an archery experience.

When I broke the news to the rest of the girls they were really excited, and the bride loved the idea of trying archery. Luckily we didn't have to wait long until our archery experience, and when we arrived at the site everybody was even more excited than before. The session started with a short safety briefing, but once that was out of the way we were all given a hands on archery masterclass. The instructors taught us all the basics, and even though none of the girls had been on an archery experience before we all picked it up really quickly.

After perfecting our technique in the practice range we moved onto some trickier targets, and to make things even more interesting the instructors introduced a series of games. Even though we didn't take the games too seriously they were really good fun, and they actually helped us improve our technique. I just felt sorry for the instructors who had to put up with us!

Our archery experience seemed to absolutely fly by, and before we knew it it was time for the final game which was a scored grand final. To win we basically had to rack up as many points as possible using our final 10 arrows, and all of a sudden things got very competitive. They won't admit it but the girls all wanted to win, and even though I ended up coming last it was a great way to end the day.

I think it's safe to say we didn't find the new Robin Hood, but the girls loved the archery experience and bride-to-be was a real dead-eye. We even had sunshine, which made the day even more enjoyable.
