"I was concerned by the amount of time we were paying for not feeling like a day out but on the day the two hours was more than enough for everyone. Each found an event they enjoyed and the instructors were laid back and helpful without being over the shoulder constantly. Really good day out, everyone plans to return or buy a weapon! "

" Feb 2026 - we attended an archery session as part of a birthday celebration for a group of six and had an excellent experience. The facilities were first-class, and the location was easy to access with no issues. Our instructor, Julian, was fantastic, clear in his instructions, thorough with the safety briefing, and his friendly banter made the session even more enjoyable. Despite mixed weather, the experience was not affected as the archery is carried out undercover, and the rain eased during our session. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this activity to others."

"The booking was straightforward. I did however need to speak to somebody on the phone with a query and do feel you can't beat actually speaking to someone! The day itself was fantastic. Our instructor James was incredibly professional but also really friendly and helpful. He is a real asset. He even took photos and videos which he forwarded to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends."

"We had a join knife & axe and archery session for a stag do back in the summer. We all had a great time, the instructor (James?) was brilliant, knew his stuff, had plenty of missiles and kept us all engaged throughout. Would definitely recommend this for a fun and entertaining day & I'll never look at an axe again without wanting to throw it into a log :D"

"Instructor was relaxed and helpful, we had done archery before so he covered the minimum level of briefing and we were able to get straight into it which was appreciated and gave us almost a full hour to shoot arrows. It’s a beautiful spot, lovely views. We would definitely go back."

"We had Josh as our instructor. He was very good at helping us improve our technique and teaching us how to shoot our arrows properly. He gave us lots of practice to we could get used to hitting the targets, and he gave us lots of good tips for improving. My partner and I had a lovely time."
"Me and my fiancé wanted to do something fun on our honeymoon and we came across the archery and axe throwing package, we were so excited! Everything definitely lived up to our expectations!!! The activities are in a cute little area between villages and our instructor Jon taught us amazingly, we really felt like pro archers hearing all the little tips and the science behind the sport too. Thankfully it was a nice day out so we were able to go outside for the axe/knife throwing, again really good instructions and a lot of fun 🤩 After the session ended we immediately wanted to do it all again "

"Fantastic experience, my daughter has been wanting to get into archery for some time so this was a Christmas present to see how she liked it and her dad joined in too. They had the best time thanks to Ian, he's a brilliant instructor very knowledgeable, gave lots of help, advice, information and made the session really fun. We'd not even got home before my daughter was asking to go back to do archery with Ian again, in her words "Ian is really nice" Made her day getting gold on the target and being able to bring her target sheet home. A lovely gesture and has made my daughter very happy. We didn't know anything about starting her up with Archery but have left with guidance on how to do this which was appreciated. Overall a brilliant experience. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back to do it again. "
